The changes you made to my site don't show up on my computer. What gives? |

Ninety-five percent of the time, your changes aren't showing up because the older version of the page is still stored in your Cache, or Temporary Internet Files. To clear your cache and view the newest version of the page, hit the "refresh" or "reload" button at the top of your browser. The button will look something like this, depending on what browser you're using: 
The storing of old page content is a throwback to the days when most people had slow dial-up connections. It allows pages to load faster by drawing upon already-stored files. But now you have a DSL or cable connection, don't you? So you'd probably like to see the latest version of the page automatically, without hitting refresh all the time. In Internet Explorer, there's a setting you can change to fix this. Tools > Internet Options > Browsing History > Settings Under "Check for newer versions of stored pages, click on "Every time I visit the webpage" and apply:
